The Lakeview location is much smaller than the Lincoln Park location, so if you’re going with a big group you may want to consider going to Lincoln Park. The Lincoln Park location is closed on Mondays.

MANA Food Bar – 1742 W Division (773) 342-1742 – Ask your server for a vegan menu. Features dishes from all over the world. A bit pricey, but a nice place for a special date. I recommend the Sesame Noodles.

Delicious Cafe – 3827 N. Lincoln Ave. (773) 477-9840 – Delicious has an all vegan food menu and several options for dairy free milks; however, they offer dairy milk for coffee drinks, as well, which is why they’re in the vegetarian section and not the vegan section.
Indian
Udupi Palace – 2543 W. Devon (773) 338-2152 – Vegetarian South Indian cuisine, some dishes contain dairy (cheese or yogurt), so ask your server before you order.
Mexican
Quesadilla: La Reina del Sur – 2235 N Western Ave (773) 235-8807 Closed from Sundown on Friday until Sundown on Saturday in honor of the Sabbath – Vegetarian taqueria with soy-based meats and vegan cheese options. Pretty much anything on their menu can be veganized, plus they have a juice bar!

Heavenly Gelato & Ice Cream – 2662 N. Sawyer Ave. (773) 342-0427. Hours: Mon – Thurs 2-10p, Fri-Sat 2-11p. Heavenly usually has at least 4 flavors of Chicago Vegan Food’s Temptation ice cream on hand, yum!
iCream Cafe – 1537 N Milwaukee (773) 342-2834 Build your own soy ice cream sundaes and shakes. Not all flavors and mix-ins are vegan so be sure to ask before you order. They also offer soy pudding but I have yet to get the specs on it.
Miko’s Italian Ice – Bucktown: 1846 N Damen; Logan Square: 2236 N Sacramento. The majority of their flavors are vegan, not sure about the chocolate or chocolate chips as I’ve never ordered them.
Italian/Pizza
Boiler Room – 2210 N. California (773) 276 – 5625 Build your own vegan pizza with Daiya cheese and seitan.
Dante’s Piza – 3028 W. Armitage (773) 342-0002 – Unlike many of the other places offering vegan pizza options, Dante’s only has one vegan pizza, but it’s not your typical vegan offering since they use a nutritional yeast mix for cheese instead of Daiya or Teese and no faux meat.
Dimo’s Pizza – 3463 North Clark Street (773) 525-4580 or 1615 N Damen – Get a whole vegan pie or choose from a variety of vegan slices (make sure to ask for a punch card so you can get your 11th slice free!).
